Happy New Year Everyone! Lets start the New Year out with a bang..well how about a old photo that includes a gun?
This is a NOKO Real Photo Postcard, they date from 1907 to 1920. I have a photo of my Father in Law from 1916 where he is wearing similar knickers and coat and even his haircut is the same so that is the year I will pick to date this postcard. Apparently the gun was a studio prop to keep the child occupied, it also looks like this is a photo that was taken outdoors…someplace warm I would guess from the fan palms that are on the right side of the photo.
This is a photo from the Antique Shop in Dorset, Minnesota.
